Army Pvt. Evelyn L. McClain has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla.
She is the daughter of Lisa Shropshire of Hinesville.
McClain is a 2009 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Tillis graduates from basic

Pvt. Donald O. Tillis Jr. graduated from U.S. Army basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
He is the son of Donald and Verbertha Tillis of Hinesville.
Tillis is a 2010 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Seaman Apprentice Forney promoted

Navy Seaman Apprentice Rico R. Forney, son of Ramona and Thomas Stevenson of Hinesville, recently was promoted to his current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
Forney received the early promotion for his performance during the training cycle, which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, survival, and water, shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.
Forney is a 2010 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

DelaRosa completes Army ROTC course

Catherine DelaRosa graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training  Corps Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Wash.
Cadets in their junior and senior years of college must complete the leadership development course.  Upon successful completion of the course, the ROTC program, and graduation from college, cadets are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army, National Guard or Reserve.
The cadet is a student at San Diego State University, Calif.
She is the daughter of Crystal G. DelaRosa of Hinesville.
