Locals complete military training

Christopher R. Lancia has graduated from officer candidate school at Fort Benning in Columbus and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
Lancia has served in the military for 12 years.  
He is the son of Raymond B. and Kathleen G. Lancia of Allenhurst.
His wife Sarah is the daughter of Anthony Larson of Madeline, Calif., and Susan Larson of Alturas, Calif.
The lieutenant earned bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah.

Ball graduates from training course
Army Pvt. Solomon J. Ball has graduated from the automated logistical specialist advanced individual training course at the U.S. Army Quartermaster Center and School at Fort Lee in Petersburg, Va. 
Ball is the son of Crystal D. Ball of Hinesville.
The private is a 2010 graduate of Liberty County High School.
