Da’Jon Darrel Hokes was born at 5:03 p.m. April 4 to Jessica Marks of Hinesville and Herman Hokes of Hinesville.

Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Da’Jon weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 21 inches.

The baby’s maternal grandmother is Deborah Jenkins of Cedar City, Utah. The baby’s paternal grandmother is Rosie Hokes of Hinesville.

The baby also is welcomed by sister La’Zayah Hokes, aunt Snatese Cannon of Hinesville, godparent Deak and uncle Smitty Smith.
