Amanda Sharpless and James Davis
Amanda Sharpless of Jacksonville will be married to James Davis of Jacksonville at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Shindler Drive Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
The mother and father of the bride are Lena and David Sharpless of Jacksonville.
The groom’s parents
are Dennis and Julie Davis of Hinesville. His maternal grandparents are Bill and June Carroll of Loganville, and his paternal grand-
parents are James and Milodean Davis of Hinesville.
The bride’s maternal grandparents are Raymond and Blanch Harvey, both are deceased. Her paternal grandparents, also deceased, are Lorin and Marguerite Sharpless.  
The bride is a 2003 graduate of N.B. Forrest High School in Jacksonville. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida in 2007 and her master’s degree from the same university in 2008. She is currently employed with the Clay County School District in Orange Park, Fla.
The groom graduated from the Bradwell Institute in 1999. He graduated from Nashville-Auto Diesel College in Nashville, Tenn., in 2000, and is currently employed with BMW of North America in Jacksonville.
After the wedding, the couple plans to live in Jacksonville.
