STATESBORO — Outstanding Georgia Southern University students were recognized at the annual Honors Day Ceremony recently on the university’s campus. Individual awards were given to 156 students during the ceremony. Inductees into various honor societies were also recognized.
Honor’s Day is the university’s way of recognizing some of Georgia Southern’s best and brightest students, as well as their families. The following students from the Liberty County area were recognized:
• Kevin Hoover from Hinesville received the Outstanding Scholar Graduating Senior award.
• Christina Larson from Hinesville received the Outstanding Scholar Graduating Senior award.
• Daniel Lee from Hinesville, a senior, received the Biology Award.
• Michelle Mabry from Hinesville received the Outstanding Scholar Graduating Senior award.
