Amanda Kathleen Herring of Savannah, daughter of Mary Johnson Herring of Hinesville, was named to Armstrong Atlantic State University’s dean’s list for the summer 2010 semester, according to Anne Thompson, AASU’s interim vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty.
Herring, a HOPE scholar and AASU honors student, is majoring in psychology at Armstrong’s Savannah campus, where she attends college year round.
She also recently was inducted as a member of Psi Chi, a chapter of the National Honor Society in Psychology, which honors exceptional students. She will graduate in December.
