LUDOWICI — The National Society of High School Scholars recently selected Courtney Flournoy for membership. The Long County High School student was selected based on her academics.
NSHSS founder and Chairman Claes Nobel said, “On behalf of NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice and commitment that Courtney A. Flournoy has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence.”
Flournoy will be a sophomore at LCHS next year, and is a member of the cheerleading and golf teams.  She is the daughter of Tracy Flournoy and Tessa Harrison.
“We are so proud of her. She works hard to attain the grades she receives. To know that all of her hard work is paying off makes this recognition so much sweeter,” Harrison said.
