Rebels tryouts are from 2-4 today

Marne Lanes hosts bowling tourney

 

Fort Stewart will host the 30th annual Women’s Bowling Championship Handicap Tournament from Feb. 19-20 and Feb 26-27 at Marne Lanes. Entries must be postmarked by Feb. 9 or hand-delivered no later than Feb. 11. For more information, call Les Culver at 767-4866.

 

YMCA soccer open until March 14

 

The Liberty County YMCA spring soccer program registration continues until March 14. The season kicks off March 19. For more information call Richard Sommerville at 368-9622.

Church league

 

A community church bowling league needs new bowlers. The league meets at 6:45 p.m. each Thursday at Marne Lanes on Fort Stewart. Anyone who attends any church is eligible. Sign-up costs $19-$21 and play costs $8 each Thursday. Call Jeri Vick at 876-4351 or 222-0924.

 

Long rec

The Long County Recreation Department is accepting applications for baseball, softball and T-ball. Age groups range from 4 to 14. Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the recreation department’s office Monday-Friday between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or at the drop box after work hours. The application deadline to sign up is Feb. 28. For more information call 545-9112.
