McRae ranked 6th best shooting guard

Sporting News released its list of the top 10 shooting guards in college basketball Wednesday with former Liberty County High School phenom Jordan McRae being listed as six.
According to sportingnews.com, McRae was the most improved player in college basketball last season and had an impressive five-game stretch where he averaged 28 points.
McRae is preparing for summer league play and was the number one draft pick in the Rocky Top League selected by the Campus Lights, govolsxtra.com reported.
The first team All-SEC player will begin league play Monday at 7:30 p.m. when the Campus Lights take on Rice at the Christian Academy of Knoxville.
