Kristi Carter and Brian Kim were married April 26, at Lovely Lane Chapel on St. Simons Island. Chap. William Ralston officiated at the ceremony. A reception followed at Epworth By The Sea.
The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Dorothy Carter of Hinesville. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in human resources management. She is employed as a benefits coordinator at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.
The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Pin Na Marshall of Columbia, S.C. He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in information technology. He is employed as a desktop technician at St. Joseph's/ Candler in Savannah.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Amanda Carter, as her maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Angela Fralish, Allison Penland and Manji Sinji, all friends of the bride. The flower girl was Abigale Ferguson, god-sister of the bride.
The groom chose his college roommate, Brian Sadowski, as his best man. The groomsmen were Vonte Abrams, Randy Penland and Donald Powell, all friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Kenneth Holmes III, cousin of the groom.
Dianne Behrens and Amanda Carter provided music for the ceremony. The couple took a Caribbean cruise honeymoon and now live in Savannah.
