SAVANNAH — The Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire, a nonprofit organization that provides a “home away from home” for families who have critically ill or injured children receiving treatment at Savannah-area hospitals, recently announced that four new members were elected to its board of directors.
The new board members are:
• Ashley Dodd, McDonald’s owner/operator and Hinesville resident
• Carter Eubank, McDonald’s owner/operator
• Rebecca Page, vice president at the South State Bank
• Lisa Pinyan, associate/project manager at Felder & Associates
The board is led by Bill Sorochak, executive director of the Savannah Ronald McDonald House.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire is to create, find and support programs that enhance the health and well-being of children and families.
The Savannah Ronald McDonald House has 13 bedrooms and operates on a waiting list most of the year.
The Board of Directors is comprised of leading executives in the Savannah area, including executives from banks, marketing companies, law offices, franchisee owners, hospitals, insurance companies, etc.
Board members provide guidance on running the Savannah Ronald McDonald House and securing funding for the organization’s objectives.
