The skin on your face is very delicate compared to the rest of your body. Taking care of your face creates a pretty canvas for your makeup artwork. Be sure to consistenly exfoliate, cleanse and moisturize your skin (and never sleep with makeup on!).
2. Use primer
The majority of women skip this easy step. Whether you want a spray on primer or a creamy lotion type, putting on some form of primer will create a perfect base for your foundation to stick to.
3. Lightly contour
Just a light amount of toned powder around your cheekbones will make a world of a difference. Not only will it slim your face, but contouring will add dimension to the features you want to highlight.
4. Brush the brow
If you are anything like me then you have the pleasure of dealing with thin eye brows. The simple act of just brushing your brows in an upward motion can give your face a more sharp and edgy effect. For added emphasis, darken your brows with a brow pencil or powder.
5. Mascara
Always, always, always use mascara. Mascara will always be my holy grail for makeup look. Fuller, darker lashes makes you seem effortlessly beautiful without actually trying too hard.
