Georgia Emergency Associates, which had been operating the South Georgia Immediate Care Center in Hinesville since November 2011, recently announced that the walk-in urgent care clinic was rebranded as St. Joseph’s/Candler Immediate Care. The change went into effect April 5.
“We are excited to be able to bring St. Joseph’s/Candler to the Hinesville community,” said Georgia Emergency Associates President Dr. Brian Kornblatt. “We also want to assure our patients that we will continue to offer the same level of excellent walk-in medical care and customer service at our Hinesville clinic that they had when it was operating under the South Georgia Immediate Care Center name.”
In addition to its South Georgia Immediate Care Centers, Georgia Emergency Associates has been operating the chain of St. Joseph’s/Candler Immediate Care centers since 2001 in the Savannah area in partnership with St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System. Georgia Emergency Associates also staffs the emergency departments of St. Joseph’s and Candler hospitals, and other hospitals in the southern Georgia region.
