“Georgia's First Congressional District is the proud home to four major military installations and it is a privilege for me to represent all five branches of the military,” Congressman Buddy Carter said in a news release.  
Carter will host a Veterans Forum Monday, May 13, at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Center ballroom, 13040 Abercorn Street in Savannah.
Carter said the forum will bring together experts from veteran service organizations and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to discuss issues that impact veterans and to offer assistance.

The Veteran Expo begins at 9 and 11 a.m., the panel discussion will start at 10 a.m.

“I hope you will join me and take advantage of the resources provided,” Carter said.
