Interstate Credit Union recently announced a partnership with BALANCE Financial Fitness Program.
BALANCE provides financial education and counseling programs to partnering credit unions. Services include money management and housing counseling, a debt repayment plan, credit report review and a toll-free information line. All those services are free to Interstate Credit Union members.
“We felt it was more important than ever in these economic times to offer our members a free solution for financial counseling,” Interstate Credit Union President and CEO Stacie Branch said. “We want to help our members achieve their financial goals, whether it’s preparing a budget, paying off debt, saving for the future or buying a home.”
Interstate Credit Union officials also believe the BALANCE partnership will result in reduced losses.
