The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 20th Annual Gary Newsome Golf Classic, presented by The Heritage Group on October 17.

The annual four-man scramble was held at Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville. Twenty- two teams entered the tournament for a chance to place in the top three and win cash prizes. The winning team for the tournament was Jody Smiley Landscaping. Team Brinker won second place, and third place went to the Wrap It Signs team.

The corporate sponsors for the tournament were: Chick-Fil-A Hinesville, Coastal Cooling, Coastal Fiber, Coastal Electric Cooperative, Renasant Bank, Georgia Power, Jody Smiley Landscaping, Liberty Chrysler, M.E.
