The City of Hinesville along with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the “Touch-A-Truck” event April 27 from 3-7 p.m. in downtown Hinesville. This is a hands-on event for local kids and farmer’s market attendees.

Children will be allowed to touch their favorite first-responder vehicles, get behind the wheel and meet the people who help to build, protect and serve the community. Hinesville fire and police departments will be in attendance, along with EMS, ESG and the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.

The event takes place Thursday, April 27 in downtown Hinesville at the Farmers Market from 3-7 p.m. as part of Georgia Cities Week, sponsored by Southeastern Bank. The tradition started back in 2000 as an opportunity for all city employees to fellowship while also celebrating the accomplishments of their peers.
