The Liberty County High School FFA group attended the Georgia State FFA Convention on April 22-24. Members performed community service by participating in the Rebuilding Macon House Painting Project.
Seven students from LCHS attended: Shanell Fleming, Jasmine Debrossard, Dimitri Vakerics, Kalyn Wainwright, Shyann Reed, Chason Lenz and Josh Mackrill.
Students also competed in the State Agriscience Fair competition. They won sixth place in the botany division, fourth place in the environmental science category and third place in the biochemistry and food science division.
