LCHS Career and Technical Instruction State Vice President Jalen Gilyard presented almost 100 trophies at an awards ceremony at Rock Eagle camp ground on April 27.


The highlight of the night was when he presented a second place trophy to classmate Shanteria Davis.


It was a CTI State Leadership Conference on April 26-28 in Eatonton. Gilyard served as state vice president for 2011-12 school year, improving his public speaking skills as well as his leadership skills.
