Midway Middle School students and staff recently embraced the opportunity to share with those who are in need. Midway Middle School’s student council members collected more than 1,000 non-perishable food items to donate to two local food distributors, including Hinesville’s Manna House food pantry.
“This is an annual project for the students and they enjoy giving and sharing,” student council adviser Glenda Layton said. “This is also a great opportunity to enhance the character-education curriculum as outlined by the ‘I Care’ program.”
