Smiley art teacher earns grant

Allison Walden, Long County’s Smiley Elementary School art teacher, has won an Innovation Grant from Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization for Women Educators.

Yvette Keel, the immediate past state president of the sorority’s Georgia chapter, sponsored Allison’s application and presented the award on behalf of Alpha Delta Kappa.
