After each nine-week grading period, Walker Middle School students who have not been cited for behavior violations submit their names into a drawing for a chance to win a $25 Walmart gift certificate.
Two names from each grade level are drawn, for a total of 10 winners.
The winners for this grading period are fourth-graders Johnny Vasquez and Cody Densmore, fifth-graders Tyler Lairamore and Cody Nalley, sixth-graders Devin Bernardi and Joey Guadalupe, seventh-graders Elijah Wright and Christopher Wells, and eighth-graders Logan Hyde and Sierra Evans.
“We have a great group of kids here at Walker Middle, and we want to let them know we appreciate their hard work and good behavior,” WMS Principal Heath Crane said.
“We congratulate all the winners and all those students who had their names submitted,” Assistant Principal Shawn Peek said.
