Family displaced by early morning fire Sunday

HFD fire fighters were called to put out a blaze at Shady Oaks mobile home Sunday morning.

A Sunday morning fire displaced one adult and four children, according to the Hinesville Fire Department.

Fire fighters responded to a fire at Shady Oaks Mobile Home Park at 2:40 a.m. Dispatchers from 911 advised fire fighters that the fire was visible and there were no occupants in the home. Fire fighters quickly extinguished the fire, according to the HFD.

HFD fire marshals are investigating the fire’s cause and the American Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
