Interstate Credit Union announces Extreme Makeover: Classroom local contest winners

Interstate Credit Union is pleased to announce the winners of their Extreme Makeover: Classroom Edition Contest.

“We were proud to present each of these six teachers with a check up to $750 to improve their classroom,” said Stacie Branch, Interstate Credit Union CEO. “They will use the funds to create an ideal learning environment for their students.”

The winner from Liberty County is Mikia Frazier at Joseph Martin Elementary School. The winner from Long County is Kaleigh McCullough at McClelland Elementary School.

Other winners chosen were:

• Rebecca Thornton at Jesup Elementary School in Wayne County

• Angela Rentz at Appling County Middle School in Appling County

• Shirley Thomas at Martha Rawls Smith Elementary School in Wayne County

• Krista Highsmith at Golden Isles Elementary School in Glynn County Each year Interstate Credit Union invites Pre-K through 12th grade teachers from local counties to participate in its Annual Extreme Makeover Classroom Contest.
