Change of command Monday on Fort Stewart

Fort Stewart and the 3rd Infantry Division will change leaders  Monday, when outgoing Maj. Gen. Jim Rainey passes command of the unit to incoming commander Maj. Gen. Leopoldo A. Quintas. 

Rainey is going to be assistant deputy chief of staff, G3/5/7, or operations and information, for the Army in Washington, D.C., according to Fort Stewart Public Affairs Office spokesman Kevin Larson.

Quintas was the deputy chief of staff for G3/5/7 at Fort Bragg, N.C.
