Coastal Manor crowns first beauty queen

Coastal Manor’s first resident beauty pageant is in the books and Rosetta Fleming was crowned Ms. Coastal Manor on Friday. 

Fleming is 63 years old and has resided at Coastal Manor since 2014.  She was born in Midway and worked at the King and Prince on St. Simon’s Island. 

Fleming serves at Coastal Manor’s Resident Council president. She leads monthly meetings to hear any concerns the residents may have.  Fleming’s hobbies include singing and reciting poetry. 

 

Diana Willis was named 1strunner-up, and Sara Ayers received 2ndrunner-up. 

 

Liberty Regional Medical Center CEO Mike Hester thanked Ameris Bank and the Wingmen Motorcycle Club of Long County for their contributions as Diamond Level sponsors, and he thanked The Heritage Bank for their sponsorship as a Ruby Level.  Kylie Dixon, activities/social services coordinator, was recognized for organizing the event. 

As Ms. Coastal Manor, Fleming will advance to the state pageant on April 1 in Stone Mountain to compete for the Georgia Health Care Association crown.

Liberty County Commission Chairman Donald Lovette served as the master of ceremony.
