A search of a Country Manor Mobile Home Park residence Tuesday morning turned up a cache of drugs, according to the Long County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and investigators executed a search warrant at the home and seized crack cocaine, synthetic marijuana, a stolen firearm and several drug-related objects.

Myron Quentin Bradwell, 28, of Ludowici, and  Kabri Thompson, 24,  of Riceboro, were charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession and use of a drug-related object. Bradwell also was charged with criminal interference with government property, theft by recovering stolen property (firearm) and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Sheriff’s Lt. Tom Sollosi said the operation was led by Cpl. Austin McGinn and was the result of a lengthy investigation by the LCSO Narcotics and Drug Investigations Unit.

“Two firearms of unknown origin were also recovered,” Sollosi said. “The investigation into the ownership of these weapons is ongoing and additional charges are possible.”
