Ryan Arnold named Hinesville assistant city manager

At the regularly scheduled July 19 Hinesville City Council meeting, council voted to appoint Ryan Arnold as assistant city manager of the City Hinesville. Arnold comes to the city from Forsyth County in Cumming where he currently serves as the budget manager.

 

“I am incredibly excited to welcome Mr. Arnold to the City of Hinesville,” said Hinesville City Manager Kenneth Howard. “I am confident we chose the most qualified candidate that will continue this city’s tradition of success and excellence.”

 

Arnold has a M.P.A. from North Georgia College and State University and B.A.’s in both English and Humanities from Seattle University.

 

He has previously served as a grants manager in Forsyth County prior to being promoted to budget manager. He has served as the grants manager in Hall County, intern grant researcher and program analyst in the city of Dahlonega, community resource coordinator at Georgia Mountain Community Services, A.F.S. site director at the YMCA in Hall County and project specialist at St. Anthony School in Milwaukee, WI.

 

Arnold’s start date will be announced at a later date.

 

“I look forward to bringing him on board and for the development of the great things ahead for the City of Hinesville now that we have this critical position filled,” said Howard.
