Santa will be available for family photos at the Marne Community and Spouses’ Club’s Holiday Craft Fair on Nov. 15 at Richmond Hill City Center - Photo Provided

The Marne Community and Spouses’ Club (MCSC) is hosting a Holiday Craft Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 15 at the Richmond Hill City Center, 520 Cedar St. in JF Gregory Park. MCSC would like to invite the Hinesville community to join us for this fundraising event that is free and open to the public.

The fair, will feature more than 50 local crafters, bakers and vendors. Shoppers can find home décor, wreaths, ornaments, clothing, accessories and more. Families can also take a picture with Santa for $10. There will be a VIP hour this year from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the event for $2/person or $5/family. The VIP hour will allow for shopping in smaller crowds and a smaller line for Santa photos. The Richmond Hill City Center Café will also be open for lunch!

“We are looking forward to our second annual craft fair and are excited about the variety of vendors participating this year. With the holiday season upon us, it’s the perfect opportunity to purchase unique gifts from local businesses, many of which are owned by military

spouses” said MCSC President Angela Durham.

Proceeds from booth sales and Santa photos will benefit the MCSC’s annual scholarships and grants. Scholarships for spouses and children of soldiers and grants for local community organizations that benefit soldiers are given away every May. This year’s goal is to raise $20,000.

MCSC is a 501c3, non-profit social and welfare organization that supports Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield families and the greater Marne community through community outreach, academic scholarships and welfare grants.
