Seven Ministries helpers get ready to distribute food.

Editor, Once again, with help from this great community, Seven Ministries was able to have another successful Christmas Giveaway of turkeys and hams to senior citizens. This annual event is made possible from your donations to The Jackie Gilliard-Henderson Memorial Scholarship Walk-A-Thon. The donation overflow assists our ministry of giving and were able to put funds back into the community. That allows us to host other events like our back-to-school rally. And along with awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors, were able to provide support to the local Manna House, the Liberty County Homeless Coalition, and other means of support to those in need.
For this particular event, we would like to thank Percy Price, Hank White, Jones Osteen and Jones Law Firm, Sheridan Kantor, Guan Ellis, Bobby Ryon, Teresa Stewart, Bryant and Vicky Gilliard, Felecia Holmes-Gilliard, Frednell Walthour, Pete and Vivian Gilliard, James C. Reid and Valerie Frasier. This years giveaway reached nearly 230 homes and its our hope that next year well reach even more. I would like to thank the volunteers who dressed as Santas helpers to make door to door deliveries: Felecia Gilliard, Marc Anderson, Valerie Frasier, Brenda Baker, Irma Bowser, Commissioner Justin Frasier, Larry Baker, Rickey Gilliard, Jr. and Rickey Gilliard, Sr.
Again big thanks to you Liberty County for making the goodwill of Seven Ministries possible.
