The First Presbyterian Christian Academy Highlanders took two back-to-back varsity victores in Men's basketball when they traveled to Memorial Day on Thursday and beat last year's state champions David Emmanuel on Friday night. The junior varsity split victories with a loss to Memorial Day but a win against David Emmanuel. And the Lady Highlanders get their second victory of the season as they toppled David Emmanuel after a tough loss to Memorial Day. Here are the scores

According to junior varsity head coach, David Linderman, the junior varsity Highlanders played an older team.
"We played well but had a lot of missed opportunities," he said. "Mike and Garrett played real hard and the team is really starting to play good basketball. We were down by as much as 12-points and battled back to tie up the game in the third quarter then we just ran out of gas. But all in all I was very proud of them. We have a new player, Matt Brown, and he stepped in and played very well. I'm glad to have him."
