The Panthers trailed 6-0 until the bottom of the sixth inning.

Panther Colby Rhea was 3 for 3 at bat and scored a run to get things going in the fourth. Jacari Roberts and Dylan Gamble each got an RBI single and Jacob Albertson hit a two-run single.

Aric Albertson pitchedthe first four innings, getting five strikeouts and walking three. Roberts finished, earning four strikeouts and walking one.

The Panthers rebounded from that loss, playing at Bradwell Friday.

For the second time this season, Liberty beat the Tigers. This time the Panthers pitched a no-hitter and won 8-0. Rhea took the win on the mound, tossing for the entire game and getting 15 strikeouts. Aric Albertson led hitting, going 3 of 4 with 3 RBIs.

Liberty will host Groves Friday at 5 p.m.
