Cody French and Eddie Chipple were the center of attention Friday afternoon as the seniors received accolades from the teammates and friends during Liberty County’s final regular season home game hosting Washington County.

On Thursday, the Panther boys took a 14-9 win against non-region foe Windsor Forest. Friday’s game was the boys’ final for Region 3-AAA, downing the Golden Hawks 4-2.

Panther pitcher Joe Watkins pitched a solid six innings against the Golden Hawks whose two runs were unearned due to fielding errors by the Liberty team.
