The future bride attended Long County High School and is the granddaughter of Skip and Betty Reed of Ludowici, and Jack and the late Pat DeLoach of Walthourville.
The prospective bride is currently a waitress at the Huddle House in Ludowici.
The prospective groom is the son of Ronald and Mary Jane Poppell of Ludowici and the grandson of Harlis and Iona Ryals and Maggie and John Buie, all of Townsend. He attended Long County High School and currently works at Jeffers Drywall.
The wedding is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the home of Mary Jane and Ronald Poppell, Route 1 Box 231-1 in Ludowici.
