The fourth annual Shawnee McGowan Memorial Junior Rodeo will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the N.C. Ranch in Ludowici. There will be a bicycle giveaway, food, prizes, games and a toy scramble. For information, call 545-9542.

After-school program

The St. James Center is accepting registration for its free after-school program, which includes homework assistance for children enrolled in kindergarten-sixth grade. First annual Ricefest
Golf Tournament

Registration is open for the first annual Ricefest Golf Tournament, scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Ricefields Golf Course on Hampton Island Preserve. Fees are $300 per team or $75 per individual, which includes two beverages. Mulligans cost $5 for two. Prizes will be awarded for the closest to the pin, longest drive and a hole-in-one.
