New exhibit opens at council's gallery

The “Web of Life” mixed media exhibit opened Tuesday in the Hinesville Area Art Council gallery, and a community reception was held Thursday evening.

Artwork by Marjett Schille, Candy Schille, Judy Hughes, Marquita “Kita” Macon, Jeannine Cook, Mike Lewis, Elizabeth Lake and Steve Lake makes up the exhibit. The exhibit shows aspects of life, such as nature, family, spirituality, traditions and history, as well as connections with the past, present and future.
