Local students graduate from Georgia State

ATLANTA — More than 3,000 students graduated from Georgia State University during the fall 2022 semester at the associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, specialist and doctoral levels.

Local graduates include: • Justin Mincey of Hinesville, Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Economics.

• Chyna Griffin of Hinesville, Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Global Studies.

• Essence Hill of Ludowici, Bachelor of Science with a major in Biological Science.

Hinesville’s Silvey named to Grove City Dean’s List

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Asher Silvey, a Christian Ministries major at Grove City College from Hinesville, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction for the fall 2022 semester. Silvey is a 2020 graduate of homeschool and is the son of Rev. and Mrs. John Silvey (Candace) from Hinesville.

Students eligible for the Dean’s List with Distinction have a GPA of 3.6 to 3.84.
