Lisette Crawford, a rising senior at Bradwell Institute, has been elected as a Georgia FCCLA State Officer for the 2025-2026 school year. This prestigious leadership role places Crawford among the top student leaders in the state, representing over 25,000 members of Georgia FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America).
Crawford was elected during the annual Georgia FCCLA State Leadership Conference held in March, after going through a multi-step process of an application, a qualifying exam, an interview, and preparing and presenting a speech. As a state officer, she will serve as a representative for Georgia FCCLA at regional and state events, help plan statewide conferences, and promote FCCLA’s mission of developing leadership skills and preparing youth for future careers in family and consumer sciences.
“Lisette is an exceptional student leader whose dedication and character make her the perfect choice for this role,” said Kathryn Snelson, FCCLA adviser at Bradwell Institute. “She truly embodies the values of FCCLA and will no doubt inspire others across Georgia.”
Crawford has been an active member of FCCLA since her freshman year, participating in national programs, community service initiatives, and leadership development opportunities. Her election marks a significant achievement not only for her personally, but also for Bradwell Institute, which continues to support and develop student leaders in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs).
As she steps into this leadership position, Crawford looks forward to making a meaningful impact across the state.
“I’m honored to serve Georgia FCCLA and excited to lead with compassion, creativity, and commitment,” she said.
