A menagerie of animals can be found at the store giving customers their choice of snakes, birds, reptiles, guinea pigs, aquatic fish and more.

Aqua Brill is located at 318 A Welborn St., behind AutoZone and across from Cicis.

Owner Brian Klinkiewicz opened Aqua Brill with wife Mirriam in January of this year.

Klinkiewicz is an active duty soldier and is a native of Honesdale, Pennsylvania. He grew up around different types of animals, raising rabbits and showing chickens.

Klinkiewicz was a breeder and saw firsthand customers being charged high prices. He wanted people to have a different experience.

"I want people to have something that helps them," he said. "It’s not all about the money."

Aqua Brill provides pets and supplies at affordable prices. The store often has in-store sales and discounts. Hamsters are sold for $5 each and fish start at $1.25. Customers who pre-order items are given discounts and pets not available at the store can be ordered through Aqua Brill.

Aqua Brill also offers help setting up fish tanks and provides a babysitting service of $3 per day for exotic animals.

Klinkiewicz loves talking about animals and is willing to give anyone advice about their pet.

The decision to open Aqua Brill in Hinesville was easy. Klinkiewicz enjoyed the local community so much that he wanted to give back in a special way.

"Hinesville has been such a good place for us and we wanted to do something," he said.

Being an Iraq War veteran, animals help calm him down. He wanted to provide that comfort for others in a family atmosphere.

The connection with honoring family can even be found in the name of the store. The name "Brill" is Klinkiewicz’s stepfather’s last name, who was a great influence in his life.

Klinkiewicz is all about serving others. He and his wife used to sell online but missed interacting one-on-one with customers. Now people come to Aqua Brill just to hangout and talk.

Aqua Brill is also a supporter of K9 Battle Buddies and sells dog products. Klinkiewicz’s own service dog is often found at the store.

Right now, Aqua Brill is working on expanding their bird selection and reptile area. The ultimate goal is to open a total of five stores in the region and give customers a special, personal experience.

Aqua Brill is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
