The Heritage Bank recently announced that Cameron C. Smith has been promoted to bank officer.
Smith has been serving as branch manager of the bank’s Pembroke office since January.
He will continue in that capacity and will have lending responsibilities as well.
“We’re excited to announce Cameron’s promotion to bank officer. He has worked hard to earn this opportunity, and he will continue to work hard for our customers in Pembroke,” Chief Credit Officer Stephen Parker said. “Cameron is a great fit with the branch team, and he’s going to serve the community well.”
Smith began his banking career at Heritage in 2006 and has worked in various capacities including branch manager of the bank’s south-side office in Hinesville.
He is 2007 graduate of Liberty County High School and is pursuing his bachelor’s degree at Georgia Southern University.
“It’s been great getting to know the Pembroke community, and I look forward to working with our branch team to grow our business,” Smith said.
The Heritage Bank, which began in 1911 in Hinesville, according to the bank’s website (the-heritage-bank.com), operates 24 branches and 38 ATMs throughout Southeast Georgia.
