Inspirations Performance Studio hosted a ribbon cutting and grand opening in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 14 at 4215 W. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.
Studio owner Juanita Lowery welcomed staff, students, friends and chamber staff  to the event.
Lowery offered a prayer, thanking God for allowing her to use her talents and gifts to inspire others. The studio was decorated in black and red. Attendees were treated to refreshments and live performances by the students.
Lowery has been dancing for 25 years and has a master’s degree in performing arts from Savannah College of Art and Design.  The studio offers dance classes like ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop, ballroom, acrobatics, zumba and pole fitness. Piano and acting classes also are available.
“We take students beginning at age 3 until you can’t move anymore,” Lowery said with a smile.
She also discussed the studio’s performing-arts program for children ages 5 and older. After-school transportation is provided from Liberty and Long county schools, and children are offered lessons in dance, voice, piano, visual art and acting.
“We are happy to have Inspirations Performance Studio as a new member. You’ve made a lot of improvements to the space and we wish you much success,” chamber CEO Leah Poole said.
