Effingham Rehab Services Inc., conducting business under Spine & Sport, an outpatient orthopedic and sports-medicine company, recently announced that it has been certified to supply physical therapy services to the federal government.
The company recently was awarded a General Services Administration Schedule 738X contract. Acknowledging the growth in federal spending through the GSA, Spine & Sport has placed its physical therapy services on the government’s electronic ordering system, GSAAdvantage.
“For a woman-owned small business, this schedule opens up significantly more markets throughout the country and affords us an opportunity to provide quality rehabilitation services to numerous governmental agencies,” said Dr. Jacques L Beauchamp, president of Effingham Rehab Services Inc. “Our schedule will expand our reach beyond the federal government to numerous state and municipal governments, as we can now offer them our outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine therapy services at fixed government pricing.”
Spine & Sport clinics plan on servicing local and regional VA hospitals and active military-service members stationed at military installations.  
Spine & Sport, founded in 2004, has facilities in Hinesville, Richmond Hill, Savannah, Whitemarsh Island, Effingham and Jacksonville.
