Hinesville’s Tractor Supply Company store will hold its grand opening Saturday with specially priced merchandise deals that will be honored through Sunday. The store officially opened for business Sept. 20.
The Hinesville location is Tractor Supply’s 54th store in Georgia and employs 15 team members. The 23,196-square-foot facility includes a sales floor and support-service space.
Tractor Supply is the largest rural-lifestyle retail-store chain in the United States and has been operating in Georgia since 2000.
“Hinesville is a great location for Tractor Supply Company because the Out Here lifestyle compliments the community here,” store manager Matt Gerig said. “Our know-
ledgeable, friendly team looks forward to providing our neighbors with Tractor Supply’s legendary customer service.”
Gerig joined Tractor Supply in 2003 as an assistant manager at the Griffin location. Prior to joining Tractor Supply, he worked in retail for many years. The Statesboro native loves music and being a soccer coach and father.
As store manager, Gerig oversees all store operations, including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer and team-member relations.
To celebrate the grand opening of the store, shoppers will receive
10 percent off their first purchase, up to $100, through Sunday and can enter to win prizes, including store gift cards, pet feed, clothing, power tools and a 22-ton log splitter. Free Tractor Supply caps also will be given away while supplies last.
Saturday’s grand opening event will feature a pet adoption hosted by the Liberty County Humane Shelter, Toys for Tots and the Veterans Salute, supporting the Veterans Memorial Walk planned for Bryant Commons in Hinesville
Regular operating hours for the store, located at 766 W. Oglethorpe Highway, are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
