The third grade students in Debra Crowley and Carol Hough’s gifted classes recently creating 3D models of Pilgrim homes.
They are studying Pilgrims and the settling of America and each student created a homesite. The purpose of this curriculum is to give students a closer look at the struggle that was part of everyday life in the Plymouth Colony. Each home site incorporates objects from the outdoors, since that is what the Pilgrims had to use.
These projects are now on display as a model of the Plymouth Colony.
