Hinesville accepting applications for Christmas event

The city of Hinesville has begun accepting vendor applications for the annual Hinesville for the Holidays event.

Hinesville for the Holidays, the city’s annual tree-lighting ceremony, is set for Thursday, Dec. 5 from 5-8 p.m. in downtown Hinesville. This event is free and open to the public and will feature free holiday-themed activities, such as train rides, photos with Santa and performances by local school choirs. The event will conclude with the tree lighting ceremony in Bradwell Park.

The Hinesville for the Holidays Committee will accept applications for vendors now through Nov. 22.

Vendors will need to provide a craft or activity at their booth that is holiday-themed and geared toward children and families.

There is no fee to participate, but space is limited, and applications will not be accepted once space is full. This event will be held rain or shine. Weather updates will be posted to the Facebook event group, along with other city of Hinesville social media accounts.

If interested in becoming a vendor for this event, download an application at cityofhinesville.org/82/Public-Relations.
