The jury reached a verdict in the murder trial in the death of 31 month old, Prince C. Davis, Wednesday afternoon in Liberty County Superior Court.

Davis' cousin Andrea Renee Wilson and co-defendant Corey Allan Brown both faced two counts of malice murder, two counts of felony murder and two counts of cruelty to children for their alleged involvement of Davis' death in the couple's Riceboro home in January 2007.

The jury deliberated for a little more than three hours before rendering their verdict to Liberty County Superior Court Judge D. Jay Stewart.

Wilson and Brown were both found not guilty of the first two counts of malice murder, but guilty on all other charges.

The trial swiftly transitioned into the sentencing hearing where the judge handed Brown a sentence of Life without the possibility of parole.

Wilson's sentencing was moved to next week to allow time for character witnesses to be brought into the courtroom.
