Liberty County Schools Return to In-Person Learning

(Hinesville, GA)— All Liberty County School System students will return to in-person learning on Monday, Sept. 13. School sites have been deep cleaned, and school employees will continue to follow the safety precautions which were implemented at the beginning of the school year.

We are asking that parents please assess your child each morning for signs of illness prior to bringing them to school or allowing them to board the bus. A Virtual Learning option is being developed for those parents who completed the Learning Option Survey requesting one.

Parents who selected Virtual Learning on the recent survey will be notified of the date when the Virtual Learning Option will begin. All students are expected to be in-person until they have been notified that the Virtual Learning Option is ready.

All after-school activities will resume on Monday, Sept. 13, and high school sports practices will resume on Friday, Sept. 10.

“Thank you to our parents, staff, and students for your cooperation over the past two weeks while our students were learning virtually. The education and safety of our students will continue to be our top priority. Working together as a team, we can ensure our students receive the best education possible while remaining safe,” stated Dr. Franklin Perry, Superintendent of Schools.
