Driver's license offices set holiday hours

The Department of Driver Services reminds customers that licensing centers will be closed during the holiday season on the following days:
Customer Service Centers statewide will be closed Dec. 22-25. Centers will also be closed Dec. 29 through Jan. 1.
The Customer Contact Center and Administrative offices will be closed on
Dec. 24-25. All locations will be closed on Jan. 1 in observance of New Year’s Day.
The days after a holiday closing are typically very busy days, so plan ahead.
DDS reminds customers that many services may be initiated online including requesting a replacement license, initiating a change of address or obtaining a copy of your driving history.
DDS Commissioner Greg Dozier asks that all Georgians observe safe driving practices throughout this holiday season. “Please follow the rules of the road, drive the speed limit and never drink and drive,” he said.
