Fashion show in memory of shooting victim

The second annual Tiffany Rene York Fashion Show is set for Friday night.

It raises money to fund scholarships for the 17-year-old  Liberty County High School junior who was gunned down, allegedly by members of the FEAR militia group, in December 2011.

"I am doing it in memory of Tiffany," her sister, Morgan York said. " Today Tiffany would be a senior, getting ready to go to prom and graduating."

Scholarships go to a graduating senior in the county. Last year's went to Ariana Carby.

The show will start at 6:30 in the cafeteria of Liberty County High School. Tickets can be purchased now from participans or at the door for $10. Kids 5 and under get in free.

"Clothes will be from our previous sponsor, Hopes, who has boutiques in St. Simons and Jesup," Morgan York said. "Hair will be done be stylist from Lé Jolie.

"Come out and support a great cause."
