Farmer’s Natural Foods hosted its 30-year anniversary celebration and ribbon cutting in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce on May 2 at 754 E.G. Miles Parkway.
Owners Jerry and Roberta Poppell welcomed family, friends and chamber members and staff.
Farmer’s Natural Foods offers organic produce and hundreds of supplements and remedies, as well as a smoothie and juice bar. All smoothies and juices are made from organic fruits and vegetables.
“Our message has always been the same: Recycle, protect the environment and animal rights, prevention — taking care of your body and mind with exercise and nutrition, educate the public about serious problems that exist with our food supply, provide information about health issues, and offer healthy food and quality supplements to support the body’s natural healing abilities,” Jerry Poppell said.
Farmer’s Natural Foods will be host Farmer’s Monthly Movie Night. In a collection of interviews with leading nutritionists, naturopaths, scientists, medical doctors and journalists, one will discover ways for overcoming illness naturally. Movie Night has free admission and will be on the last Friday of every month.
